Do you need some sort of art/drawing background to join?
Not at all! Most of our past students didn't have any background in drawing or painting either.
How old is the minimum age?
Ages 10 and up is advised, but everyone is welcome to join us.
Why does it seem a
bit expensive?
1. Eight 2-hour Classes
2. Good Quality Materials
3. Guaranteed Good Output, regardless of student's
background in art.
To be honest, it only seems expensive at first look. This is
because you're paying for eight two-hour
classes per full course.
A lot of the other cheaper art workshops offer only one-hour
classes, or about 4 sessions. That means you're only getting half of what you
pay for. And in our experience, you can't get much quality work done within this rushed timeframe.
(We also have a 4 session trial course for those who still
find it a bit too expensive; however, we highly suggest eight two-hour sessions for
the students to ensure that they learn everything they need to learn, and create
quality drawings & paintings by the end of the workshop.)
Another reason is because we have invested in very good quality art materials. (Which
is already included in the fees!) We don't use paint that can be found in
generic bookstores, or cheap pre-school paintbrushes, or mongol pencils, or bond paper. We've travelled to different places just to get the best materials for our
students.
(Also, the painting teacher is quite picky with these things)
We ensure you that you get what you pay for. The students will
have great artworks by the end of the course. That's a promise.
By any chance, do you
give discounts?
Yes! If you're enrolling more than one student, talk to us
and we'll work something out. :)
